Hello

Thanks for dropping by! Now you're here you'll find information about my books, published by One More Chapter, Harper Collins.

I write romantic adventures with a musical twist, I like to think of them as 'rom-coms for rock chicks'!

You can read my Cheshire Life Magazine 2022 columns here!

You'll also find information about my award-winning play 'Shake It Up Baby' which inspired my debut novel 'Shake It Up, Beverley'.  Plans are ongoing for a UK Theatre tour, rudely interrupted by circumstances beyond everyone's control (*cough cough* need I say more?) Follow our progress here.

My Story

Suzan trained as a newspaper journalist and worked on regional and national newspapers before moving into TV production at Central and Granada Television Studios. She worked on a variety of television news and lifestyle programmes and was Series Producer of ITV’s network daytime talk show Loose Women.

Married to musician, actor and presenter Noddy Holder, Suzan has one son, two step-daughters and two step-grandchildren. She loves music, dancing, dirty martinis and clunky (rather than kinky) boots.

Suzan has written for newspapers, television and theatre and is thrilled to have written two novels Shake It Up, Beverley and Rock n’ Rose for One More Chapter, HarperCollins; the first a romantic comedy about Beatles fan Bev and her internet dating adventures, the second about a young woman who travels to Memphis, Tennessee to solve a family mystery involving Elvis Presley.

Suzan has spent the last year appearing at book shop events and speaking at literary lunches. In December 2022 she was guest speaker at the annual
Birmingham Press Club Christmas Lunch and made an honorary life member of the prestigious club.

She appears regularly on BBC Radio Manchester and is a regular newspaper reviewer/panelist on GB News and Channel 5’s The Jeremy Vine Show.

Suzan writes a regular monthly column in Cheshire Life Magazine.

She is also busy writing her third romantic comedy with a musical twist.

Suzan being congratulated by Mike McCartney
